Katie is a member of the Indiana County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Education & Experience

Katie earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2012, where she participated in the Civil Litigation Certificate Program. During law school, Katie worked for the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office in the Civil Litigation Division.


Upon graduation from law school, Katie returned to Indiana, where she served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Indiana County Court of Common Pleas for one year. Since completing her clerkship, Katie has practiced in Indiana County and represented a wide range of clients.


In addition to her practice, Katie has enjoyed teaching as adjunct faculty in the Criminology Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and at the Municipal Police Academy within Indiana University of Pennsylvania.


Katie graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.


Community Involvement

Katie is active in her community through the following:

  • Vice President of the board of the CARE Center of Indiana County, a local children’s advocacy center.
  • Board Member for Four Footed Friends, a local animal shelter.
  • Member of the Children's Advisory Commission of Indiana County.
  • Solicitor for the Indiana County Sheriff’s Department.
  • Solicitor for Aging Services, Inc., Indiana County’s agency for the aging.
Personal

Katie was born and raised in Indiana County and now lives here with her husband, daughter and son, and two dogs. Outside of the office Katie enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, cooking, and being a mom.
